Kyandu Muziki Dance/Music Troupe, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Chambuso Tanzania (singing with maracas - since he let me play the lead marimba part ) is the virtuosic leader of this great set of musicians/dancers, who have recently received international invitations for concerts in Zanzibar and at the Edinborough Festival.

I also have video of him playing solo, which is stunning. It was great studying with him for two months and getting to perform a few of these folk songs from the Mtwara people.
