Each of these three movements was created around an abstration of a visual theme I found while visiting these locations during the summer of 2006. All three use video and pre-recorded sounds. Swedish water is performed without live player. Frankfurt Window is strictly notated for the performer, who begins the movement in silence with video. Only later does the audio track come in and eventually overtake the live sound. Holland Train requires the performer to improvise along with the tape part.
